Where do you work? Dooley & Associates.

What is your job title and what do you do? (My) official title is principal. Dooley & Associates specializes in tailoring marketing plans to the growth goals of every client. The enthusiastic satisfaction of Dooley clients in web design, search engine optimization, social media marketing, video production, branding, print media advertising and public relations has resulted in the continual growth of the boutique firm located in downtown Kenosha.

How did you land at Dooley & Associates? I started it the day before my 30th birthday when I realized there was a need in the region for companies to have access to an outsourced marketing department that could operate as an extension of their team. Dooley started in a small one-room home office in Lake Geneva.

How long have you been at Dooley & Associates? We’re celebrating 11 years in business on March 11, 2019. My birthday is March 12, so I get a lot of back-to-back celebrating!

What do you enjoy most about your responsibilities? I love the diversity of our clients that I get to work with and help grow everyday. I also love my amazing team of creatives that make my day fun and keep me on my technological toes.

What work experiences brought you to this position? Early in my career, I had the opportunity to manage numerous projects that integrated every facet of marketing and sales to multiple audiences, so I quickly learned how to execute, monitor and measure the impact of the work I performed. Our tagline at Dooley & Associates since day one has been to provide marketing resources to grow your business, and we have not wavered on this commitment since we opened in 2008.

What are some of your proud individual accomplishments? A 10-year member of the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, incoming president of Downtown Kenosha Inc. board, past president of the Rotary Club of Kenosha West, a University of Wisconsin-Parkside Foundation board member and serving on many special event committees. In 2017, Dooley was selected as a Susan B. Anthony “Woman to Watch under 40.”

Where do you see your industry going in the next few years? Clearly data is going to continue to be a major asset in decision-making when it comes to marketing, and more businesses will start leveraging it to their advantage. Beyond that, all businesses are going to have to continue to prioritize digital marketing because that’s where the majority of consumers are starting their journey with your brand, and it’s going to become increasingly more important to create seamless online experiences for customers. Businesses will also have to continue to focus more resources on the responsive nature that their digital presence requires, including reputation management and influence marketing.
